A dated raised ranch in need of some TLC, this home received new floors, trim and paint throughout the main level, a renovated and updated main entry area and a completely remodeled kitchen. The old wall separating kitchen and dining was removed to open the space while still providing separation from the living room. An old service door to a recently enlarged deck was removed as a slider added in the dining room made it obsolete. This allowed for additional counter space and provided a great spot for sink relocation with an exterior view via the added casement window. The sink was located where the oven is now originally. Can lights were installed in both the kitchen and dining areas with undercabinet accent lighting and a decorative light over the sink. Carpet and linoleum was removed and the entire main level refitted with waterproof and durable luxury vinyl tile. The main entry stairs were furnished with new oak railings replacing the original wrought iron railings and existing oak stair treads (a surprise lying beneath the existing carpet) were sanded and refinished with a custom stain to match the LVT flooring.
